CAUTIONARY STATEMENT:  Government Auditing Standards require CPE credits to directly enhance the auditor's ability to perform audits.  The GAO has specifically identified taxation as training that does NOT meet the bi-annual 80 hour CPE requirement unless the training directly enhances the auditor's professional proficiency to perform audits and/or attestation engagements (e.g. taxation would probably qualify as CPE for IRS employees).  Refer to the GAO website for more information: http://www.gao.gov/govaud/cpeamend.htm.  We cannot be responsible for CPE that is not accepted by individual Government Agencies based on the type of work that is performed by the auditor.
